Lausanne Beaded Bandage Dress
by Herve Leger
The March 2011 issue of South African Cosmopolitan magazine has just been released, and everyone is talking about the stunning dress that actress Mila Kunis wears on the cover.
The bronze toned dress is by French fashion house, Hervé Léger, founded by designer Hervé Leroux, whose 'bandage' or 'body-conscious' dresses gained fame for it's foundation, which shapes and moulds it's wearer's figure with signature bandage-like strips. Hervé is now part of the BCBG Max Azria design group.
The strapless, dune coloured dress glistens with intricate beading and sequins and features the trademark bandage detail in a crisscross design. I think it looks better on Mila than the catalogue model. This beaded bandage dress is available from BCBG at $5200, which works out to a staggering R37 170. That's a lot of money for a little dress.
