The model fully represented the brand, in a chic black and striped jacket with peplum flounce and all black accessories.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Cate Blanchett glimmered at the AACTA awards in Australia, wearing a lustrous gold silk mid-length dress with two-tiered hem by Alexander McQueen.</div>Rooney Mara continued her 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' movie tour in Japan, looking swish in a white architectural ruffled design by Givenchy. Zoe Saldana brought some sassy style to the Sundance Film Festival. The actress looked alluring in a black Alexander McQueen frock with cut-out shoulders and wide belt. Vanessa Hudgens impressed me most this week, looking gorgeous in a canary yellow silk strapless gown that flowed like a ray of sunlight. Her dress is by Maria Lucia Hohan. The blonde actress choose a bright blue fitted tee and abstract print maxi skirt, peppered with every shade of blue. Gwen Stefani translated her rockstar style to the sidewalks, in a grey military jacket, black long tee, inkblot jeans, grey flat boots, black trilby and large tote. I'm assuming at least one of these pieces are from her label L.A.M.B Fearne Cotton is an expert at experimenting with different styles. Here she wears an oversized charcoal coat over a crimson red asymmetrical dress, black tights and grungy boots. Yet another reason why she is one of my favourite style icons. Jessica Alba - a week can't go by without one of her street-smart looks. She mixed stars and stripes with a multi-coloured Aztec jacket and sky blue star print shirt, both by MiH. Jessica added a cream scarf, wedges, and bright orange bag by Tory Burch.

A brown belt, VBH sling bag, Manolo Blahnik heels and Fred Leighton jewels complete her unique look. Elizabeth Olsen attended the Chanel Couture 2012 show in Paris, tastefully dressed in a dark blue double-breasted Chanel blazer, worn over black skinny pants and boots. I admire her stylish simplicity with this look. Alesha Dixon was snapped outside the 'Britain's Got talent' auditions. The show's newly appointed judge opted to wear a black suit blazer with a snazzy white crystal-gem embellished shirt and coral skirt. This is a cute outfit, but don't you think that she and Jessica Alba could have swopped shoes?

With all the excitement of the Golden Globes this week, there were so many other interesting outfits that were overlooked. Here is the roundup. Jessica Alba brought her savvy style to the streets of New York, looking vibrant in a two-tone green-to-black Doo.ri coat, tangerine top and multi-shaded floral Erdem trousers. Her quirky colourful ensemble was complete with teal and white Barbara Bui sandals.

Gillian Zinser from '90210' showed off her unique style in a black, green and red floral skirt, worn with a strapless lace corset. It's refreshing to see someone not in the usual cocktail dress or evening gown. Nina Dobrev wears a romantic ivory and pink floral chiffon dress by Monique Lhuillier. She accessorized with a pink Rebecca Minkoff clutch and peep toe Louboutins. There were not many red carpet looks this week, seeing that it's so close to the holidays. However, I did find some wintery street style inspiration. Her delectable spearmint gown, edged with gold embroidery is by Marchesa Resort. To me it looks part sari, part Grecian, but pretty nonetheless.
