The Festivals of Speed was founded as the ultimate luxury lifestyle
showcase for discerning enthusiasts with a passion for all forms of
transportation. With a series of extremely special events scheduled
throughout the year, Festivals of Speed joins the very best in
automotive, aircraft, marine and motorcycle transportation with the
finest culinary, wine, spirits, and fashion for the ultimate luxury
experience. Unlike many automotive events that simply occur annually
the Festivals of Speed hold a number of events annually; giving car
enthusiasts ample opportunities to revel in unique experiences
throughout the year.
Following
a huge showing in 2011, Festivals of Speed expanded the St. Petersburg
event this year and drew attendance numbers in the tens of thousands.
Attendees experienced incredible vehicles by Koenigsegg, Ferrari,
Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Porsche, Aston-Martin, BMW, Mercedes,
McLaren, and more. Included in this collection was the Bugatti Veyron
16.4 Grand Sport, Fisker Karma, Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, a 1955
1956 and 1957 serial number one Corvette Collection, Koenigsegg CCXR,
and many other unique collector vehicles to make for a very rare and diverse showing of automotive design.
The weekend of May 5th and May 6th 2012, Festivals of Speed once again
held a Motorsports Gathering & Luxury Lifestyle Display at the
Mission Inn Resort and Club to benefit the Alliance Healthcare
Foundation.
During
this unique event weekend, the spectacular rolling countryside
surrounding this Northwest Orlando resort played host to the world’s
finest vintage and contemporary vehicles set for display on the plush
fairway of the Mission Inn Resort & Club’s Championship Golf Course.
Enthusiasts came out in the masses for the opportunity to appreciate
automotive masterpieces of design and engineering in a setting that was
both festive and elegant.
