The exterior gets a new front lip spoiler, carbon fiber mirror housings and different sets of 21” HARTGE wheels. There is also a set of lowering springs reducing the ride height by 25mm at the front and 20mm at the rear. HARTGE also offers a complete stainless steel sports exhaust system. The Hartge M5 uses a set of lowering springs that bring the car closer to the road by 25 mm up front and 20 mm at the back. Interior changes are limited, but customers can order aluminum pedals, velour floor mats and Hartge badging. The most important upgrade is definitely under the hood where the 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 engine can now produce a total output of 642 HP (472 kW) and 810 Nm of torque (597 lb-ft), 80 HP (60 kW) and 130 Nm (96 lb-ft) more than the standard version. First, the stage one package features an optimized ECU which enables the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine to generate 543 HP – 399 kW and 687 Nm (507 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in 4.6 seconds and reach a top speed of over 309 km/h (192 mph). Exterior-wise, the Audi has been restyled by a decent bit, now featuring a redesigned front fascia and a rear sports diffuser. Upon request, SKN will also be able to fit the Audi with a suspension lowering module, which reduces the ride height of the car by up to 40 mm, alongside a new set of wheels measuring 20 or 21 inches in diameter. Powered by the V8 twin-turbo engine with only reprogramming ECU and now able to produces 543 horsepower and 687 Nm of torque, giving the car ability to accelerates 0-100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 309 km/h. The most powerful package is the Stage 3, allowing the engine to deliver a respectable 560 HP (412 kW) and 701 Nm (517 lb-ft) of torque. It permits an acceleration from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) 0.1 seconds faster, in 4.5 seconds, while the top speed reaches 311 km/h (193 mph). The 2014 R8 is offered with three different engine variants: the R8 V8, the R8 V10 and the R8 V10 Plus. The 2014 R8 is now more dynamic and powerful than ever before thanks to numerous improvements, including a newly developed seven-speed S tronic transmission that helped improve the 0-60 mph time by 0.3 seconds on the R8 V10 Plus. At the top of the range is the new R8 V10 Plus with 550 horsepower and 398 lb.-ft. of torque. Equipped with the S tronic, it catapults from zero to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 196 mph. It weighs approximately 100 lbs. less than the R8 V10 due to utilizing carbon fiber side blades, front splitter, rear diffuser, spoiler; a smaller fuel tank; manual Alcantara seats and ceramic brakes. The RS 5 Cabriolet shares the same look and specifications as the RS 5 Coupe, though it offers the open top experience. Power comes from a 450-hp 4.2-liter V8 engine that will propel the car from 0 to 62 mph in 4.9 seconds, all while achieving 18 mpg combined, helping it to avoid the gas guzzler tax. For looks, a matte aluminum frame wraps the large front grille and lower lip of the car, while Xenon plus wedge-shaped headlamps and LED strips sit above two large air intaks that are imbedded in the front apron. Inside, the Audi RS 5 Cabriolet's driver-centric cabin reprises the look of the RS 5 Coupe with chrome, carbon fiber and aluminum accent elements setting off a basic black motif that includes a flat-bottom multifunction steering wheel, deeply bolstered sport buckets trimmed in Nappa leather and Alcantara and alloy sport pedals. The high performance sports car is now more dynamic and powerful than ever before thanks to numerous improvements, including a newly developed seven-speed S tronic® transmission that helped improve the 0-60 mph time by 0.3 seconds on the R8 V10 Plus. The new seven-speed S tronic double-clutch transmission significantly boosts the performance of the Audi R8.The new S tronic transmission also improves driving comfort with smoother shifts. The split rear seatbacks can be folded over individually, and a load-through hatch from the trunk to the rear seating area improves ease of access functionality. Special reinforcements contribute to the convertible body’s high rigidity, and aluminum front fenders compensate for some of the added weight of the reinforcements. The new LED light strips illuminate the headlights and taillights without any conventional incandescent lamps. Like the lights, the rear bumper was also redesigned; its diffuser is now much higher, and a honeycomb screen insert encloses the two large elliptical tailpipes of the exhaust system. On the trunk lid there is a subtle matte carbon spoiler lip for additional downforce. The sport seats have power adjustments, high side panels for optimal lateral support, integrated head restraints, a lumbar support and a pull-out thigh support. They are upholstered in a combination of leather and Alcantara or in the optional black or lunar silver Fine Nappa leather. All leather types are pigmented to reduce heating by sunlight. At the press of a button, the soft top opens and closes automatically in 15 seconds and 17 seconds respectively – even when driving at speeds of up to 30 mph. As no surprise, the production version looks pretty similar to the concept versions, but it has finally received its door handles, mirrors, indicator lights, seat belts, a slightly different front bumper and redesigned air intakes in the front bumper. Also, the exhaust pipes are now placed in the right position and not on the car’s side as in the concept versions. Power comes from a 570hp 4.6 liter V8 mated to a 200hp electric motor, the engine will be backed up by two electric motors which are rumored to have a combined output of 245 hp (183 kW). This could enable the model to develop approximately 795 hp (593 kW) and 575 lb-ft (780 Nm) of torque. This latest model comes with a comprehensive set of features and is thus perfectly tailored to customers’ wishes. Prices start from €21,200 for the 1.4-litre petrol-engine version (59 kW / 80 PS). Compared to a standard range model with comparable specification the price advantage is at most €3.400. With over 850,000 units sold, the Golf Plus has established itself as a successful member of the Golf family. Vehicle body height, flexibility and functionality are defining features of this five-door car. The Golf Plus is particularly popular with customers who appreciate the model’s level of comfort. An example: the raised seat position, from which driver and front-seat passenger benefit when getting in and out and which also provides a much clearer overview in traffic. Flexibility is also a major feature: the rear bench seat, for example, which can be asymmetrically split and folded and slid lengthways by up to 16 centimetres, creates room to transport awkward items. In combination with the front-seat passenger’s seatback, which can be folded right down, the interior cargo space can be extended to 2.3 metres in length. Depending on the position of the rear seats, the boot space capacity is adjustable between a minimum of 395 litres and a maximum of 505 litres. If the rear seatbacks are folded right down, up to 1,450 litres of cargo space is available. A payload of up to 637 kilograms is also possible. With the launch of the special Golf Plus LIFE Volkswagen is now offering a very high specification model that leaves nothing to be desired and simultaneously impresses with its attractive price. Further standard features include high-comfort seats in the ‘Matrixline’ seat fabric (with storage pockets on the backs of the front seats, height adjustment, lumbar supports and drawers under the front seats) and a central armrest. The multi-function leather steering wheel scores through its ease of use and - together with the leather gearlever knob and handbrake handle - gives the interior a high-class ambience. Externally this special model can be identified by the 16-inch ‘Spokane’ alloy wheels and the wording ‘LIFE’ on the wings. Chrome rims on the air inlet grilles, an LED registration plate light, fog lights and tinted rear and side windows are further attributes of the Golf Plus LIFE. The Golf Plus LIFE is being offered with seven petrol and six diesel engines. The petrol engines deliver between 59 kW / 80 PS and 90 kW / 122 PS, while the diesels cover a performance range from 77 kW / 105 PS to 103 kW / 140 PS. Also available as an alternative for the Golf Plus LIFE is BlueMotion Technology and the 6 or 7-speed DSG developed by Volkswagen.
