Isuzu has releases the new D-MAX Pickup Truck, which made its public debut on Wednesday. Isuzu also revealed the all new D-Max in Thailand, a market that is important to Isuzu.

On the outside, the new 2012 Isuzu D-MAX Pickup Truck features different front and rear end styling treatments as well as bespoke trim parts, while inside, the changes over the Colorado are limited to the color options and the instrument panel.

The engine range for the new pickup starts with a couple of 2.5-liter turbodiesels, producing 115 and 136 horsepower respectively. The top of the range model gets a 3.0-liter that’s capable of producing 177 hp.

The new D-Max will sit on Isuzu's new “iGrip”platform which is said to sit on a stiffer chassis, improving handling and ride comfort. The new D-Max will also be the first 1-ton pickup to offer active safety features like brake assist, traction control and vehicle stability system.
