I've never been a cake topper girl, but if they had these when I was getting married I would have definitely bought theses quirky, off the wall cake toppers from artist Melabo.  

 She also has unicorn head grooms, owl groom & squirrel bride, groom with receding hairline, among others.  Fun and wacky, right up my alley.
